The Turin Giants Appoint Ex- Italy Head Coach Luciano Spalletti
Juventus have named previous Italian national team boss Luciano Spalletti as their manager for the remainder of the campaign.
Spalletti takes over from Igor Tudor, who was let go following the loss to Lazio on Sunday.
Tudor had joined the club in March filling the shoes of Thiago Motta but exited following a seven-month stint after an eight-game winless streak.
Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 then moving on to lead the Italian national team, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup with Mancini at the helm.
Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.
Yet, the Italian FA let Spalletti go in June post a qualifying defeat against Norway, with the Azzurri at risk of missing out on a third consecutive World Cup.
He has previously coached Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Italy's top flight and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.
Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus in the midweek 3-1 triumph over Udinese placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - six points adrift of Napoli at the top after nine rounds.
Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, with one loss and two draws in their first three games.
